This one's for the girl

So, as you may have (or may not have. I really cant speak to how observant you may/may not be....funny thing about the READERS being annoy-ye-mouse ((for those of you which may be out classed by my wit, AND that bad joke, annoy-ye-mouse = anonymous)) ) noticed, the title of this post is the title of a song. A song by Martina McBride. (as far as i can tell from a cursory Google search.) Well, ALMOST the title of a song. It happens to be missing an s on the end of girl. Why? do you ask, am I bringing attention to this fact? No reason. Just thought that it was interesting. Good song and all that. Plus if you HAPPEN to be a person who REMINDED me that this blog does, in fact, exist................. than you know why I am bringing up the title. Anywho, onto the meat of this blog post. The Cheese. The big point. The philosophical discourse. Hmm. Well. Uhhh.. Durrr... (many many time passes.).... Well, I told you I'd come back. Had to climb over a mountain (stairs in my dorm) fight my way through a river ( group of other people blocking the hall way) and fight a troll (seriously......i think it lives under the junk in our room.....might be an indicator of having to clean our room.....damn.) But I'm back now. Its fall again, and I'm back at my favorite school. Things are going quite well. I will admit, i was shocked to see the leaves falling in early September, but I guess thats just because time seems to be suspended here. Its a whole other world, where people, learning, and knowledge are the hallmarks of our days, not a rush about. Im thankful for that. (along with a whole lot else). So in this fine fall season, find something to be thankful for, and then take that, and pass it forward, by being yourself, and by not being afraid to share it with others.

Another June 1st.

Well, time for another wonderful uptate!!!! (update, what ever :P) So life is going very well, I am quite content and (more) ponderous as usual. I went out and took a walk, relaxed, relaxed some more (college is out, there is an overreaching theme here) and generally have lived a more than relaxing style. so. On to the fun parts! Well, its been interesting, Ive been having fun! The biggest thing ive been learning at reacent is to take my time, be patient, and enjoy the small moments. Im good at the little stuff every day, dont get me wrong, but in relationships with my family, with the (new, and, amazingly enough STILL) girlfriend (yes, she has known me for over a month and is still here. get over it. :P ). Being myself, is, amazingly, hard for me. (im such a personable guy you say! well, yes, yes I am. but we all change around other people. Its kinda funny to watch actually.) So, im doing what all grown men do. say (censored for younger audiences) it, and just be. Whoever that is. Ill get back to ya when I know. so a fiddley do, and a good day to you. Happy June first, which for those who do not know me, is my Dad's birthday, (which should be a national holiday, but i met with the president, and we went from there, but party lines interjected and it was just a whole mess....) so celebrate it hard and free my friends. for me. Later gators! Jas1268123.

Mud Season

Ahhhhhh, good morning all! How have ya all been? I have emerged from the hibernation of the winter mind set and have seen the light. (well, all of us cold weather chaps are ignoring the snowstorms that still come through, because of the simple fact that the snow does not stay very long, which means that we can mostly put the numerous snow shovels that we have away. You live here long, and you amass a set of snow shovels. A collection. You know, like how you buy a set of screw drivers, and they come in different sizes from big to tiny? Well, we have snow shovels like that. The biggest one I think we call a snow blower, the smallest one I think is called by outer-staters a broom.) Ive begun watching a bit of that NCAA basketball that has started, leading up to the Final four. (Sniff....Maine lost...... T.T ((<- sad face )) no not for basketball, who cares about that....I'm talking hockey..... its too painful. ) This semester of school is beginning to wind down. Its amazing how FAST this goes. You just get caught up in a whirl wind of work, school, and people, and places, and things. (ME NO GRAMMARISMS!!!!) So speaking of work, i gotta go. Have a good one all!

Sun.
Warm.
Thank you blue sky.

Google

Alright, this is for the technological generation. I'm saying that straight out. So. Has anyone ever opened a new tab and not known what to type into the address box? Or gone straight to Google, and did not know what to type into the search box? Its happened to me a billion times before, on and off of the computer. Having a blank canvas, and not knowing what to do with it. Writers Block. ---------
Well. This is my post in honor of that block,
because there is poetry in not being able to
find anything to write.

A quick poem!

Here ya go, greedy guts!

When the topsy turning world takes a snowcone dive into a pool of stars.
The sleeper walks dreaming wide awake in the car.
Oh to seek the summer held in the island of liquid roses,
Waiting for a nightfall leap.
Stick me in a picture frame,
Hang me on the wall.
Ill be looking out,
While the world comes to a stall.
Look at us sitting here
there’s so much to it all.

Self

Who are you? Who do you see yourself as? Funny as that question might be, its a hard one to answer. What words, what intangible things can we use to describe who, and what. Every day we are asked this question, in one form and another, but we always use short, succinct words to describe it. Funny, Good-Looking, (oo, a conjoined word! wonder if it has a twin.....)smart. take the time to look in the proverbial mirror and start with the surface. Then take on the challenge of going deeper. Are you happy? Why? Do you think you are successful? Why? What is important? We are told to do this every so often, because it will make us better people in the end. I say, do this because it is a challenge, and the wisdom you receive from true reflection will cause peace. Not make you a better person, but will give you peace.

When winter sun sets over starry sky,
the fire bird keening a dying cry.
as the shadow of death passes
over a city's weary groan.
Look to the sky,
and see the light.
There is always a pearl,
in your setting sun's shadow.

No-Shave-November!

Well ladies and gentlemen! you are looking at the newest finalist of NO SHAVE NOVEMBER.......well, almost. you see there was a thing with my family, and the beard was awful scratchy after 20 some odd days, so...... What....you want an update on my life? Well since you asked nicely.....(yeah yeah, so you didn't ask. or maybe you did. any way you chose, I'm gonna tell ya.) So I;m once again on the single side of the fence.....yes, we have cookies....that we can eat ourselves.....and not have to share.....it is nice. College this semester is winding down, and I have managed to survive thus far. # 1 survival tip: Procrastination = doom. 'nuff said. Alrighty, well, gotta run. Bye!

What, think I'd leave with out a poem?
I would, but that is beside the point (or in front of it. i have trouble with gramma). I have enough of an ego to leave you some of my wonderful (horrendous) poetry pieces.

A song to sing,
from the soul to soul
Words flying from the reaches of
the mist.
Where do they go,
when the dove is on
a fluttering breath?

(P.S. Did ya notice that there is at least one post for the consecutive months of July, August, September, October, November? Yes, that my friends is talent. Since it reveals my first name anyways....)
