O.k, so i know that ive been going through serious posts.........

O.k. yes. i have been posting a lot of things that have less humor, and more of a serious message. Well, I like it that way, its where i am right now. Plus, i like to connect to people, put myself, and who I am out there. (yupp, so decide that you absolutely don't want to know me right now :P. trust me, ive been in here for 18 years, and im not too sure about the sanity of this person. Take the less of two evils, like maybe chopping that onion for dinner. Why an onion? Hey, you try chopping 5 or 6 onions, saute' them with garlic and mini chicken drumsticks, and have with various sauces. delicious, but trust me, you cant get through that with out shedding a tear. those onions and garlic put out some hefty fumes!) So here is the wisdom for today, actually not original, but couldn't have put them better myself. From 1001 Things Every Teen Should Know Before They Leave Home (Or Else They Will Come Back) by Harry H. Harrison Jr,
Number 515: "They should know that, curiously, people need to hear the words "I love you" a lot...."
Number 516: "They should know that fear poisons [a relationship]. And people get afraid when they feel powerless"
Number 522: "They should know that trust is one of those curious things that, when lost, is hard to find again"
Number 525 "They should know we all need someone to miss us"
Number 540: "They should know that if people don't find emotional intimacy, in a relationship, they may look for it elsewhere"
And finally, (yes i know, long list) Number 544: "They should know that after the "bloom" wears off, love is a decision"

Ok, well that's the wisdom.
If you are reading this now, know that the poem will be up before this day is done, but it is too hot for me to sit still right now, so Im gonna be back later.(haha, done now, what did I say! so its a day late, i have that freee, free fallin-dom still)
If you are not reading this now, i ask "are you literate?" "why are you here" and "congrats, this, along with everything else, is just a figment of your imagination. Pretend this is a question"

When the sun sets in the west,
tranquil east,
is just a memory in the sky.
Can you reach through the starry cloak of night,
to find the burning sunrise?
Where do you sit to watch the moon
journey through the beyond?
Keep that silver promise,
gentle rays of hope,
love is alive.

Wild Moon.

Wait a moment. Sit still. open a window and listen to the whistling wind,
the flavor of the wilderness creating a pause for you.
Take this moment,
realize this opportunity.

So thats yer share of wisdom fer the day. Now time for a poem.
(yah, yah, but Im too tired to do a lot of wisdom, and im looking more forward to writing this poem. you wanna do differently? ok then, go ahead :D )

Wild moon,
shine on the spirits,
to guide the night.
Wise one, silent, swift.
Cunning, in a flash of fire.
Watch over the wild moon.

Sing lone one,
swift star running through the pine.
guard the night brook,
intuition is your guide.
Speak to the wild moon.

Here Comes The Sun, Do da do dooo.

Well, it is raining on this summer day, pretty heavily as I sit down on my porch to write this. What a museful food! err.....I mean mood. (no you don't you are snacking.) (Quiet you.) Keeping with the recent values theme that I have been having this week, I have decided by the dint of my shield (figurative people... figurative) that I shall talk about an uncommon trait (at least to meeee) to find in people these days. What is this magical, rare, exciting, interesting, multi-adjective trait? Well, ill talk about that in a few. First of all, i need a hair cut. badly. several cut actually. Also, all day NCIS marathons are where it is at! and cable t.v. is a great invention, but people, when the power goes out, you can never quite replace having a card game by candle light. (not that i can do that any more. ill be out in the rain where the tree fell on the power lines, that caused your power to be out. I know, heroic of me, but heck, its meh job!) Any who, back to that trait. Its Empathy (yes yes, i know I stalled, but heck, ive gotta keep interest if im gonna be talking about these things. My ego (interestingly enough, ego means ! or self in latin) can only go so far as entertainment value.) Empathy is having a part of yourself, that no matter what you are feeling, can put yourself in someone else's place, and can decide to act based on that. Believe it or not, its a really hard thing to do, and when you get in the practice of doing so, it can be a really annoying thing. You don't always want to make decisions because you understand why someone is acting a certain way. Well, it is worth it though, when you want to know why some one is acting the way they are, and then act to make that person happy. Yoda say, happy you are if others are happy!
Ok, the poem.

Rain tumbling off the roof.
Flashes of light,
Booming sound.
Sitting typing,
By the light of the screen,
and the orange glow of
a nearby lamp.

Old fashoned country (3.14159)

How-die Do! wait for it.....wait for it........Ding! ok there, i can start (yeahhh, i know. i WISH i was that cool.....) well, a lotta thoughts spinning through mah head tonight. random pieces of wisdom (yeah yea, my ego is the size of manhattan during a traffic jam and a snow storm, but hey, personal self-esteem boosting is part of the deal), stories I could tell, the purpose of this blog, life, and everything. So despite all of that, I have decided to talk about those evenings (GET ON with it already!). Those evenings when you wanna ride, you wanna be a part of those people who live for their freedom, earn every penny, and enjoy life for what it is. Get away from everything. Just sail into the sunset, beholden to none except the earth, your religion (i will say right now, that as an honest man, I believe that all paths lead to god), your family, and your stomach. Don't let life stop you from doing that. Sail away for the evening, take a breather, go on a wacky wild adventure. Invent something. Every second you sit here reading this is another chance gone to ground. Yeah yeah, old wisdom, but to put it in my wacky way, GET ER DONE! (old wisdom is better than no wisdom after all!) so about the poem.
Well, here it is.

A minute on stage,
singing,
dancing,
lights, sounds, friends laughing.
What more is life than a stage,
with a few trapdoors.
Laugh as you fall on the mat
below the stage.

Wisdom wizbang extrodinare!

Ah, me again. i know, dang. well, sorry, but since charlie the Muppet wasn't available, well, you have MEEEEEEEEE! so here is some wiseness (either in the sarcastic, or the real sense of the word.) for yousa! Now, im the kind of guy who (i like to think) gives you respect, courtesy, and a little trust right off the bat, unless you have done something that, well, doesn't jive with that. characteristics that I value the most are plain and simple, honesty, along with integrity. No man can call himself such, with out those in my eyes. If you are honest, and speak your heart and mind, than so many doors will be opened for you, in love, in your friends and family, and in life. If you are a man of your word, than you are worthy of the respect, and honor that that simple trust is worth. You are free to count on someone who has both of these unreservedly, because they have proven themselves to be of a higher caliber, a genuinely good soul. Now honesty is difficult, because it means that you tell your opinions, and your heart, to those who may not want to hear, or acknowledge what you say. Integrity is hard, because no matter who you are, you can't keep every promise you make. But do me a favor. try.

Ok, enough wisdom, gimme a poem. you beat that point until it was dead, rotting, and even stinking a little. plus, it sounded a bit too guru-ish, as well as over blown. I mean, we KNOW all of that already for uncle Steward's grandma's uncle's niece's sake!

Slumber Soul,
beneath the autumn moon
hear the sounds of
rustling corn stalks,
the lone wolf's cry.
Awaken,
only in the summers,
love,
of August breeze.
Keep warmth close,
and your joy closer,
to the pocket watch
of beautiful days.

Some thoughts

Well, as you all know, the champ is here, and writing strong. (dont worry, i was talking about the BRAND NEW EGO WORLD CHAMPION HERE!!!! give me some props, ohhh yeahhhh!) So some thoughts that i have had rattling about in the avalanche of my mind. (interesting place, nice in the fall, but gets a little picky during the summer. Good hotels too, but man, the traffic is sooo slow!)

What do you call the moon,
but the shadow of the sun,
hiding its tears,
in the stars of the world.

anddd:

I have the world in my eyes,
and the sun, moon, and rain
in my heart.
I am an old soul.
but can you feel,
that not a
day
passes the horizon of these
stones,
that I cannot,
forget
your name.
Oh this curse
of memory
in the blood
of the earth.

Time passes

Well, its been a while. hope that the summer is going well. wow, how time affects the wind, the rain, and our daily lives. Remember that
a tear is nothing more,
than a mark.
that you have been touched,
by that god,
time.
Have to say, that the heart has taken a beating. moving to a new school, a new way of life. remembering the past years in my hometown, and wondering how the new will go. Remembering the place, the time, of a major traumatic event of my life, and wishing that my dad could see me now. Plus the girl broke up with me, so immmmaaaaa in a n interesting place right now. course, thank goodness that there are similar stories all over. look into anyones lives, and i guarantee that you will find something cool, shocking, amazing, interesting, scary, or just abnormal. Its those things, that we can find a person in, and not another way. So if your wondering what the summer between high school, and college feels like, it is the best mix of awesome, and a whirlwind of emotions you can find. I went on a fishing trip. discovered a love of country music. remembered my patriotism, and most of all, enjoyed fireworks on a beach, the love of my friends and family, and a discovery of a me that i didn't know existed.

Here is a poem for ya all. (AHA you knew the parenthasee-thingies were coming! I know, yalll, country. i like it, so nayyyyyyh : p )

So waste your summers quietly,
sitting in the Sumner's Lee,
simmering in the silence of the storm.
Welcome to the hum-a-nee,
feel like keeping company,
don't waste the cool solstice rain.
Bring your tune to harmony,
though you have abandoned me,
keep the noise passing me,
on the sidewalk of Al-Kac-Ka-See,
so take a part of me,
and sit quietly,
live in the memory,
and enjoy the coming rainbow sun.
